TradeGreen ("the Service", operated by the TradeGreen team) is a journaling and analytics tool. It reads your past brokerage activity and helps you review it. It is not investment advice, financial advice, a broker, an advisor, or a trading system. Maru — the in-app reviewer — describes your past trades and patterns; he does not predict markets, recommend securities, or tell you what to buy or sell. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Decisions are yours alone.
The Service is provided for entertainment and educational self-journaling purposes only. Nothing in the Service — including Maru's reviews, statistics, "diagnosis," pattern summaries, or any generated text — constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. No advisory, fiduciary, or client relationship is created by your use of the Service. Past performance, including statistics computed from your own trading history, is not indicative of future results. Before making any investment decision, consult a licensed financial professional.
Connections are made through our brokerage-connection provider using read-only authorization. The Service cannot place, modify, or cancel orders, and cannot move money. You can disconnect at any time in Settings or at your broker.
One account per person; keep your credentials secure; you must be of legal age to hold a brokerage account in your jurisdiction. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or attempt to access data that isn't theirs.
TradeGreen is a paid subscription billed through the Apple App Store. Plans differ only in how many brokerages you connect: Solo covers one, Bundle up to three, Shop up to seven. Prices are shown in the App Store at purchase and may vary by region. You can browse a sample journal inside the app before subscribing. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time in your device's subscription settings. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for; an annual term already paid is not refunded on cancellation. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
The Service may show tax-related summaries of your own past trades — realized gains and losses, trade counts, and an estimated wash-sale figure. These are a convenience for record-keeping and are not tax advice, not tax preparation, and not a filing-ready document. The wash-sale estimate is computed from round-trip positions (not lot-level accounting) and does not account for every rule, security type, or activity across accounts, so it can differ from your broker's official 1099. Your broker's tax documents are the authoritative record. Always confirm every figure with your broker's statements and a qualified tax professional before filing.
We work hard to mirror your broker's records faithfully, but data can arrive late, be revised by the broker, or be summarized (e.g., grouping fills into trades). AI-written reviews can be wrong. The Service is provided "as is", without warranties; your broker's statements are the authoritative record. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
Your journal is built automatically from the trades your broker reports; there is nothing to record and nothing to type. Earlier versions of the app offered optional voice notes, which were transcribed on your device with only the text stored (see the Privacy Policy). That feature has been removed, the app no longer requests microphone access, and any text you already saved remains yours — visible in the app and included in your export until you delete it.
The leaderboard is opt-in. If you join, the username and avatar you choose, your country, and your percent return (with trade count) are visible to other users; dollar amounts are never published. Rankings are computed from broker-synced fills and describe past results only — they are not an endorsement of any user, strategy, or expected outcome. Don't impersonate others or choose offensive usernames; we may remove entries that do. Leaving the leaderboard in Settings removes your entries.
Your notes and edits are yours. You grant us the limited license needed to store and display them back to you. We do not sell your data (see the Privacy Policy).
Delete your account in Settings at any time — deletion removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect.
