Delete your account

You can delete your TradeGreen account and everything in it from inside the app, at any time. You do not need to email us or wait for anyone to action it.

How to delete your account in the app

Open TradeGreen and make sure you are signed in.
Go to the Account tab.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm when asked. Deletion begins immediately.

This cannot be undone. There is no recovery window and no archived copy to restore from. If you want your trade history or tax totals, export them from the Tax screen before you delete.

What is deleted

Everything below is removed from our database when you delete your account:

Trades	Every imported trade and its AI-written journal entry
Notes	Everything you wrote yourself
Setups & strategies	Your saved setups and tagged reasons
Broker connection	Connection records and stored broker credentials
Leaderboard entries	Removed with your profile
Account snapshots	Historical balance and equity records
Sync jobs	Pending and completed import jobs

Your broker link is also revoked as part of deletion: we deregister you with SnapTrade, our broker-connectivity provider, which ends their access to your brokerage account on our behalf. Your account at your broker is not affected — TradeGreen only ever had read-only access, and never had the ability to trade or move money.

What is kept, and why

We keep only what we are legally required to keep, and none of it identifies your trading:

Payment and subscription records are held by Google Play or Apple, not by us — we never receive or store your card details. Your subscription is managed and cancelled through the store you bought it from. Deleting your TradeGreen account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in the Play Store or App Store.
Anonymous, aggregated diagnostics — counts and error logs with no link back to you — may remain in system logs for a short operational period.

If you cannot use the app

If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, email support@tradegreen.app from the address on your account and ask for deletion. We will verify that the address matches the account and delete it for you.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete everything to remove something. Individual notes can be edited or cleared on the trade they belong to, and you can leave the leaderboard at any time in Account — which removes your published rows immediately while leaving the rest of your journal intact.
