You can delete your TradeGreen account and everything in it from inside the app, at any time. You do not need to email us or wait for anyone to action it.
Everything below is removed from our database when you delete your account:
| Data | What it is |
|---|---|
| Account | Your login and email address |
| Profile | Username, avatar, country, language, plan |
| Trades | Every imported trade and its AI-written journal entry |
| Notes | Everything you wrote yourself |
| Setups & strategies | Your saved setups and tagged reasons |
| Broker connection | Connection records and stored broker credentials |
| Leaderboard entries | Removed with your profile |
| Account snapshots | Historical balance and equity records |
| Sync jobs | Pending and completed import jobs |
Your broker link is also revoked as part of deletion: we deregister you with SnapTrade, our broker-connectivity provider, which ends their access to your brokerage account on our behalf. Your account at your broker is not affected — TradeGreen only ever had read-only access, and never had the ability to trade or move money.
We keep only what we are legally required to keep, and none of it identifies your trading:
If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, email support@tradegreen.app from the address on your account and ask for deletion. We will verify that the address matches the account and delete it for you.
You do not have to delete everything to remove something. Individual notes can be edited or cleared on the trade they belong to, and you can leave the leaderboard at any time in Account — which removes your published rows immediately while leaving the rest of your journal intact.
