An Interactive Brokers trading journal that writes itself.

Connect Interactive Brokers read-only and your closed stocks, options and futures trades import on their own, already written up. Find out which of your setups make money and which quietly cost you.

How TradeGreen connects to Interactive Brokers

Read-only, through a brokerage-data aggregator

You authorise the connection through SnapTrade. TradeGreen receives your fills. It cannot place, change or cancel an order, and it cannot move money.

Your closed trades arrive on their own

Entry, exit, size, fees and P&L already filled in. No spreadsheet, no CSV export, no typing. Option trades are grouped into the single position they were, and cost basis includes the 100-share contract multiplier.

Each trade gets written up

Where you entered against the day’s real price action, what the trade did while you held it, and how your exit compared to what the move offered.

Common questions

Can I connect Interactive Brokers to a trading journal?

Yes. TradeGreen connects to Interactive Brokers read-only through SnapTrade, a brokerage-data aggregator. Your closed stocks, options and futures trades import automatically with entry, exit, size, fees and profit or loss already filled in.

Is it safe to connect Interactive Brokers to TradeGreen?

The connection is read-only. TradeGreen can read your executed trades; it cannot place, change or cancel an order and cannot move money, and you can revoke access from Interactive Brokers at any time.

Anything specific about Interactive Brokers?

Interactive Brokers connects through a Flex Query: you create a read-only Flex Query token in IBKR's Client Portal once, and TradeGreen reads your executions from it. It takes a few minutes more than a one-tap login, and it is read-only.

What does TradeGreen add that Interactive Brokers does not show?

Interactive Brokers shows positions, history and totals. A journal groups your own closed trades by setup and measures them over time — win rate, profit factor and R-multiple per setup — so you can see which ones actually make money.

How much does it cost?

$10 a month for one connected brokerage, or $84 a year, which works out to $7 a month. Every analysis feature is in every tier; the tiers only change how many brokerages you connect.
