TradeGreen vs Tradezella, TraderSync and Kinfo

Four trading journals that sync automatically from your broker, compared on what they cost and what they actually do. We make one of them, so read the "where they beat us" section — it is the honest part, and it is the part that will tell you whether to keep reading.

Where they beat us

This is the section most comparison pages leave out, which is why most comparison pages are not worth reading.

Tradezella is a much bigger product

Backtesting, trade replay, AI agents, a strategy library, and years of iteration behind it. If you want to test a strategy against historical data or replay a trade bar by bar to see where you went wrong, TradeGreen does none of that and has no plans to pretend otherwise. Tradezella costs seven times more than our entry tier and a good deal of that difference is real product.

TraderSync covers more markets and more depth

Forex, futures, sector and market-cap reports, automated charting, and a simulator. It has been around a long time and it shows in the reporting depth. Our analysis is deliberately narrow: what happened, cut by why you said you did it.

Kinfo has a free tier and a bigger community

If all you want is a verified leaderboard and you do not want to pay anything, Kinfo's free tier is a genuinely reasonable answer and its leaderboard has more people on it than ours does today. We are new. A leaderboard is worth more when more people are on it, and we will not pretend otherwise.

We are iPhone-only, and new

No Android app, no web app. TradeGreen launched in August 2026, so it has none of the maturity the other three have earned. If you want a desktop workflow with a big screen and a decade of polish, we are not it yet.

Where we are different

Price, and what it buys

$10 a month for one connected brokerage, $15 for three, $20 for seven — or $84, $129 and $169 a year, which is around 30% off and brings Solo to exactly $7 a month. Every analysis feature is in all three tiers — the only thing that changes is how many brokerages you connect. There is no feature paywall, because the tiers exist to cover the per-connection cost of syncing, not to hold analysis hostage.

Nothing to fill in

Most journals ask you to type a reason and pick from a tag list. That is a chore, and chores get skipped — which is why most trading journals end up abandoned in week three. TradeGreen removes the chore entirely: connect your broker once and every closed trade arrives with your entry, your exit and your P&L already filled in.

Automatic import is not unique to us — the paid journals all sync. What is different here is that nothing is asked of you afterwards, and the analysis is built on the trades themselves rather than on tags you remembered to apply.

Your results, cut by your own words

This is the part no broker and no spreadsheet gives you. Because your reasons are recorded in your own language rather than squeezed into a preset tag, TradeGreen can show you which of your reasons made money — breakouts against bounces against the ones where, in your own words, you chased it. Tag-based journals can approximate this if you tag every trade consistently for months. Most people do not.

A leaderboard nobody can fake

Opt-in, percent return only, never dollar figures, and every number derives from read-only broker fills. You cannot type in a fake return because there is no field to type it into. Kinfo built on the same principle, and it is the right principle.

Which one should you actually pick

Pick Tradezella or TraderSync if you want backtesting, trade replay, deep reporting, or a desktop workflow — and the price difference is worth it to you.

Pick Kinfo if you mainly want a free verified leaderboard and a community, and you do not need the journal to ask you anything.

Pick TradeGreen if you want the journaling habit to actually stick, on your phone — and you want to find out which of your own reasons make you money. At $7 a month on the annual plan it is a fraction of what the others charge.
